Tom Cruise comes back in „Top Gun 2” ?

Tom Cruise, famous interpret of Pete “Maverick” Mitchell from action movie made in ’80, “Top Gun”, could appear in a sequel of it announces Femalefirst. Tom Cruise, now having 46 years, thought about this cinematographic after he noticed big booms recorded by other productions of ’80 like “Rocky” or “Indiana Jones”.

Here is some straight information from a source: “The idea is to pick up the story of Maverick 20 years after the first movie. He is still at Top Gun school as an instructor but this time the roles are reversed and it is he who has to deal with a cocky new female pilot.”

Representatives of production studio said that the project will not be started unless Tom Cruise will give official agreement that will play in the sequel of movie which made him a celebrity.

“Top Gun” presents the story of a pilot that flies from instinct, without any consideration for aviation rules and that has to fight with it’s own daemons in a world where second place doesn’t count. In movie distribution we can find: Kelly McGillis, Anthony Edwars and Val Kilmer.
