“Nowhere Boy” – life of legendary John Lennon

A biographic movie about legendary John Lennon is in project phase at Hollywood. The movie will call “Nowhere Boy” and will present the agitated adolescence of Beatles member. Matt Greenhalgh writes movie script which will show Lennon as a teenager abandoned by his mother and rose by an authoritative aunt. It’s one chance of escaping is passion for music, art and friendship that bond him of Paul McCartney.

Movie will be directed by Sam Taylor Wood and filming take place at Liverpool, Lennon’s natal city. Idea of making a biographic movie came to Matt Greenhalgh after he read the book of Julie Baird, step sister of Lennon.

Lennon was born in Liverpool, England, in autumn of 1940. His father, Alfred Lennon, which was sailor, worked far of home for long periods and John was rose by his aunt Mimi and his uncle, George. Death of his uncle had a tremendous impact over teenager. His life changed when he developed a strong passion for skiffle, a sort of rock and roll.
