New movie of Miyazaki is a BOOM in Japan

“Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea”, the new animation of Japanese stage director Hayo Miyazaki got cashing of almost 100 millions of dollars in Japan, in less than one month from initial launch. Last movie that achieved this performance in Nippon archipelago was too one of Miyazaki’s production, “Howl’s Moving Caste”, only this one needed 33 days to pass limit of 10 milliards of yens. Although Ponyo’s success energized cinematographs in Japan, the new movie is a lot behind biggest success of Miyazaki, “Spirited Away”, winner of Oscar award for animation in 2003, although Japanese animation was in competition with famous “Ice Age”.

“Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea” will be presented in movie festival from Venice and we will make a review immediately. Until then we can give you little information about animation movie.
