New Moon continues to produce money

Although all predictions of box office analysts were somber, New Moon continues to have success and bring good cash into producer’s pocket. The peek of the movie this weekend is already well known.
Monday it got returns of 10.5 millions of dollars, Tuesday the amount got to 11.3 millions, and Wednesday, even if the cinematographs played different movies for the first time, New Moon returned 14.3 millions of dollars. Thus, that in the eve of Thanksgiving celebration, Chris Weitz’s movie made in just 6 days 179 millions of dollars.
The other movies which had the unfortunate chance to be launched simultaneously with New Moon, got at box offices relative good amounts of money, but they are really mediocre compared with the second chapter of the Twilight. Wednesday, Ninja Assassin  received 3.3 millions of dollars, Old Dogs 3.1 millions of dollars, and Fantastic Mr. Fox only 1.1 millions of dollars.
For the moment New Moon stays the king of the American box office.
