Kate Winslet receives the Bambi award
Kate Winslet extended her collection of trophies with Bambi award, which was granted for the role in The Reader this Thursday during the Berlin festival.
The actress also received the Oscar for her acting in Stephen Dalry movie.
Accepting this big prize, Winslet stated that she fall in love with Germany during the filming, and that she was fascinated by local actors: “They had an extraordinary sense of humor, even in front of a brutal filming schedule. From the moment I finished The Reader, I’m looking for all sort of pretexts to return to Germany.”
The star of Inglorious Bastards, Christoph Waltz, left home with The Best International Actor, and Shakira received the trophy for best Pop interpreter.
