Jude Law – assistant for Sherlock Holmes

Actor Jude Law is under negotiations to make part from distribution of the movie directed by Guy Ritchie, about the adventures of famous detective Sherlock Holmes. Law should play with Robert Downey Jr. and he will be the assistant for Sherlock Holmes, Watson. Filming for movie of Guy Ritchie will start at beginning of next month at London, although the distribution isn’t complete, the name for negative character isn’t known.

The movie has as base a comic book, written by producer Lionel Wigram, and represents an interpretation of the classic character created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Sherlock Holmes is this time more adventurous and less serious compared with previous movies.

Same time, Columbia Pictures will produce a new comedy with Sacha Baron Cohen in main role. Interpret of famous character Borat will be this time the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. Helper of Holmes in resolving the mysterious crimes, Dr. Watson, seems to be interpreted by Will Ferrell. Scenery for the new project was wrote by Etan Cohen (“Tropic Thunder”), and among producers we can find Judd Apatow, the director of some successful comedies as “Knocked Up” or “The 40 Year Old Virgin”.
