A new version of “The Thing” comes

Universal Studios are preparing a new version of the famous horror movie “The Thing”, a classic and representative movie for the horror genre, announces Variety. New version presents the story of an expedition and discovers a captive alien in the ice from North of Scandinavia. The creature starts attacking people which are surrounded of paranoia.

“The Thing from Another World”, launched in 1951, became a classic for horror genre and was bought back in 1982 on screens by John Carpenter.

Carpenter, one of the horror masters, used very elaborated special effects, one of the most difficult ever made by magicians of Hollywood, letting in the second plan the story itself and its characters.
