Robert Downey Jr. signed recently a contract with Marvel Studios for another three movies with superheroes. He will be again Iron Man in the new production “The Avengers” and next two movies from “Iron Man” trilogy. Production for “Iron Man 2” will begin soon and the movie will be launched in 2010. “The Avengers” can be seen in cinema halls in 2011.

“Iron Man 2” will be directed by Jon Favreau and the distribution will be mostly the same. Only Terrence Howard will be replaced with Don Cheadle, in role of childhood’s friend of Tony Stark, Jim Rhodes.

“Iron Man” is one of the most successful movies of 2008, with returns of over 300 millions of dollars only in USA.

British Christopher Nolan, stage director of new Batman series, is very retained in what concerns the new movie of the famous franchise. He believes that the new movie will be very hard to realize, especially after the success of “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight”. Also Nolan, doesn’t know certainly if he will direct the new Batman and he is afraid that the new movie will not be as good as the precedent ones.

“At a superficial level I ask myself: how many movies of this genre had success? Same time, once with the second movie of the series I had a challenge to make a better continuation than first movie and we succeeded”, said Nolan.

One of the conditions for which Nolan would direct the new Batman movie, is the script to be perfect and to have a very good story line.

“The question is if I can maintain focused for 2 years the time needed for making such a movie? Everything depends on the story line. If we have a good story then everything is possible ” stated the stage director.

“The Dark Knight”, the most recent movie of Batman series, had returns of almost 1 milliard of dollars, being the most successful production of 2008.

American actor Adrien Brody will have the main role in the movie “The Courier” which will be directed by Russel Mulcahy. The movie is based on the story of a courier that tries to give a suitcase to an important character in the underworld which is famous because he can’t be caught.

The shootings for the new movie are programmed to begin in January in Louisiana and Las Vegas.

Russel Mulcahy directed too “Resident Evil: Extinction”. The scenery for the new movie will be signed by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas, the ones who worked at “Wanted”.

Adrien Brody became famous for the role in Roman Polanski’s movie “The Pianist”, role for which he was awarded with Oscar for best actor.

Beautiful actress Eva Green doesn’t want to move to Hollywood because she thinks she wouldn’t integrate among the other stars. Although this move would help her a lot in her cinematographic career, she doesn’t want to be always labeled as Bond’s girl. Eva interpreted this role in “Casino Royale”. She lives in the present at London and sustains she will not move to Hollywood because that is not her place to be.

“Hollywood isn’t for me. In L.A work represents everything. Studios representatives give you five minutes from their time and tell you how much they liked your movie. When I’m going to L.A, people think I’m just another French women that smokes and drinks. There is the place where every person calls you the fatal women”, stated Green.

Eva Green prefers to appear in low budget movies instead of the American blockbusters. Next productions in which she will appear are “Cracks” and “Franklyn”, which will be launched at beginning of 2009.

The movie “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” is in the head of the American box office, having returns bigger than long expected horror “Saw 5”. “High School Musical 3 ” with returns of 42 millions of dollars in three days, presents the last year of high school for Troy (Zac Efron) and Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) which are confronted with a huge problem: soon they will go to college and they have all chances for their life roads never to intersect again.

On second place we can find “Saw 5” which had returns of 30,5 millions of dollars. In the new Saw movie, Hoffman is the only person alive which has to continue the legacy left by Jigsaw. But when his secret is threatened, Hoffman has to eliminate everyone every person that is in his path.

“Max Payne” is the third in box office with returns of 7,6 millions of dollars. “Beverly Hills Chihuahua” went on the fourth place with 6,9 millions of dollars returns.

Famous actor Sir Michael Gambon, the interpret of famous wizard Dumbledore from Harry Potter series, is expecting the second child from his mistress, Philippa Hart, 43 years old. Actor made this year the respected age of 68 years old.

The actor isn’t divorced and has one more child Philippa, a boy of 2 years old.

English press discussed a lot about this subject, especially because Gambon has a 44 years old son which still isn’t a daddy.

Actress Halle Berry bought a house valued to 1 million of dollars close to Montreal and she wants to live there with her boyfriend Gabriel Aubry and with their daughter. Gabriel is delighted of this plan because his parents live in that area and he will be close to them.

“It is wonderful. Everything I’ll do this city gives me a good mood”, stated Berry’s lover.

Although they will live together, Halle Berry doesn’t want to get married with the famous model. The actress was married before with David Justice or Eric Benet.

Actor Javier Bardem is the main character of “Biutiful”, the first cinematographic project of the Mexican stage director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu after the conflict with the scenarist Guillermo Arriaga with which he made a team until last year. “Biutiful” talks about the story of a man involved in all kind of suspicious affairs and he must confront with a friend from its childhood, which became meanwhile a cop.

The scenery is signed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu himself, and the filming will start next week at Barcelona with Javier Bardem in the principal role.

Arriaga and Inarritu made for many years the most successful team of filmmakers from Mexico. They recorded a big success with “Amore perros” (2000), “21 Grams” and “Babel”.

The conflict between the two ones started in 2006 at the Movie Festival of Cannes, when Guillermo Arriaga was stopped from participating at the premiere of “Babel”.

“The Dark Knight” was not the last movie in which Heath Ledger plaid. Soon after he died, the regretted actor had begun the shootings for another movie. “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus”. Critics are convinced that Heath’s apparition in the movie of Terry Gilliam will be one you will not forget easily.

The story of the movie happens nowadays, where we can find Dr. Parnassus making a show called “Imaginiarium”, show at which any person that is in the chamber can participate, the show consists in a trip of light or of darkness, at the spectator’s own choice. Parnassus is a theatre actor which gains extraordinary powers after he made a pact with the devil in exchange of his daughter life.

The movie has an exceptional cast, we can find: Johnny Depp, Heath Ledger, Colin Farell, Jude Law, Christopher Plummer.

“The Imaginiarium of Doctor Parnasssus” will appear on screens in 2009.

Clint Eastwood will soon launch on screens his new film, with Angelina Jolie in main role, “Changeling”. Eastwood considers that all people that commit murders against children should be convicted to death sentence. “Those people deserve just the capital punishment”, said Clint Eastwood. He said he gathered information in this domain for his movie and he was very impressed when he visited Mira Loma from California, the place where took place the most of murders which inspired his most recent movie “Changeling”.

“Crimes against children are the most terrible. And for this I consider the death punishment to be appropriate”, said the stage director.

“Angelina was very affected by this story, because she is a mother too. But you don’t have to be a mother to be affected by such a story”, said Eastwood.
