Rumors are true? Arnold Schwarzenegger, California’s governor, could appear in the 4^th Terminator? A meet between Christian Bale, acting as John Connor, leader of human resistance, and Schwarzenegger puts fire on world wide bloggers keyboards. It seems that for Terminator fans a surprise is coming and even if Arnie will not appear flesh and blood in Terminator 4, it is possible to have a sight (hear?) at least parts from him at begging of June 2009. If rumors that circulate are true, it seems that Schwarzenegger’s face could be digitally remastered and overlapped on another young body, respectively Roland Kickinger. A second rumor suggests that producers could use the voice of governor for the lines of T-800 Terminator. Last month, producer Moritz Borman declared for Wired: “Schwarzenegger governs California. He will not appear flesh and bones on screen”. Even if the statement disappointed the fans, this leaves some space for another type of involvement for the ex-actor, and meeting between Bale and Schwarzenegger on stage confirms Arnie’s involvement.

Stage director James Cameron gave recently an interview for “The Edmonton Sun” publication in which he talked about his new movie “Avatar”. Cameron declared that “Titanic” the blockbuster of 1997, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, is something pretty small in comparison with “Avatar”: “The Titanic is like a picnic in front of Avatar”. For Cameron it was kind of hard to talk about this project filmed with 3D stereoscopic cameras and with digital effects, all done with latest generation of devices.

“It is the hardest production I have worked until now”, says Cameron about the movie which will be launched in cinema halls on 18 December 2009.

Nikki Finke recently confirmed that Sony Pictures bought back the stage director Sam Raimi and star Tobey Maguire for their new projects “Spider-Man 4” and “Spider-Man 5”. Jamie Vanderbilt (“Zodiac”) will write the scenery for the 4^th movie of series.

Studio representatives are analyzing the possibility that Spider-Man 4 and 5 be filmed same time and this way costs for production should be lower.

Producer of “Spider-Man” series, Laura Ziskin, said at beginnings of this summer that 4^th movie will be launched in May, 2011.

When it comes to the history of moviemaking, people tend to assume that it all started with Hollywood in Los Angeles, California – with the place itself being synonymous with the moviemaking industry. But the truth is motion pictures themselves were already made as early as the 1890s, when Hollywood was nothing more than a little farm town a short distance away from Los Angeles, which itself is still in its infancy, with California only joining the union in 1850.

They say that posters show weapons into a too much attractive manner. The Advertising Standards Authority thinks that images aren’t adequate for exposing in front of children.

Authorities say that joining seductive image of women and images of weapons could “sexualize violence”, becoming very attractive for children. There were received 17 complains that had as a complain the poster.
