Witherspoon says “No!” to domestic violence
Reese Witherspoon is in this moment at Sao Paulo, in Brazil, to sustain the fight against domestic violence, during a campaign organized by “UN Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM)”. To touch the audience with her speech, actress put one of campaigns bracer on Maria Fernandes hand, a brazilian which has become personification of domestic violence in Latin America, after she become paraplegic after aggressions that have come from her husband.
“Domestic violence affects women who are famous, who are not famous, women who have money, women who have no money.” said Witherspoon, which divorce of Ryan Philippe finalized hardly this year, after two years from properly separation, for “irreconcilable differences”.
Witherspoon is now with actor Jake Gyllenhall (“Zodiac”, “Brokeback Mountain”, “Rendition” and in 2010, “Price of Persia: The Sands of Time”)
